This is a page about my boat! It is solar-powered and packs up into a cart that can be carried by one person.
This project had a few goals:
- Boat should be more robust than a cheap inflatable boat (hard hulls)
- Disassembled boat should fit in a car
- Disassembled boat can be taken on the T
The original design used orange home depot buckets for floatation. This didn't provide quite enough boyancy to be comfortable, so I switched to 12-gallon totes. Scroll down for the old design and construction photos.
